Support navigators are trained to connect people with local support resources, including insurance assistance, employment, housing, transportation, doctors, childcare, food, mental health, and substance use treatment. Our support navigators are a part of Hancock Health’s bigger commitment to ensuring a connected, more comprehensive approach to making health possible for everyone in Hancock County.

The goal is to see a community without hunger! Every meal is completely FREE! Hours: 8 AM-7 PM, Serving hours 11-1 and 5-7 Monday through Friday. Office hours: 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM Monday – Friday. Closed Saturday and Sunday. Delivery hours at office door (alley door) or back door: 9:00 – 11:30 AM and 1:30 – 4:30 PM Monday – Friday.

Food Distribution Hours: Monday 1:00pm - 2:30pm, 5:30pm - 6:30pm, Tuesday 9:00am - 10:30am, 6:00pm - 7:00pm, Wednesday 7:00pm - 8:00pm, Thursday 7:00pm - 8:00pm

Hancock Area Rural Transit

Non-emergency transportation for various destinations is provided by Hancock County Senior Services (HCSS) for county residents 60 years of age and over and by Hancock Area Rural Transit (HART) for residents under 60 years of age. Wheelchair transportation is also available. Appointments are scheduled first come-first served. Call as early as possible, so the transportation coordinator can reserve a time for you. Seniors age 60 and over, ride to essential destinations for a donation. Those under 60 years of age ride with HART for a $4.00. Seniors can also ride with HART to non-essential destinations for a nominal fee of $4 per stop.

Life Choices Care Center

Serving individuals and families navigating the challenges of pregnancy and family life. Open to women, men, and their families, regardless of their background or situation. All services are provided free of charge, including pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, peer counseling, and material support like diapers and clothing.
